It is carbon fiber. I can stand on it and I'm 210 lbs! I just mounted it today and it fits a little better. This is just the first prototype. The lexan cover fit inside the carbon fiber cover so it's inside dimension is about the outside dimension of the lexan cover.For those of you wanting to upgrade this is the MT plastic gear plate on the Xseries.

I know what we need for a carbon fiber.... a engine cover... you know the plastic piece that covers the head? That will be nice
