Carbon fiber rotors and pads

Stumbled across these...ordered a set but probably won't use until the Johnny Crash Racing ones are dead. Color options is nice.Not familiar with the company but made in USA. Kinda of nice to have another option. If you're familiar with the company please let me know. Hyperflow Fans is company name, have some good reviews on the interweb.

So, did you find that stray CC and purchase the Vitavon chassis? It does look cool.

Regarding the rotors. Looks like they are a copy of the Johnny Crash rotors with pads added.

I remain interested in knowing how the CF pads will work with the CF rotors; both in wear and stopping.

Let us know how they perform were to decide to install them.

Heat been terrible this summer. To hot to run trucks, smoke from Canada, extremely bad, or horrible rain. Hopefully you are well also. Vitavon stuff is a no go.....couldn't afford it and if it breaks your stuck for who knows how long. I do recommend the driveshafts, very good so far. Truck is running like a bear when opportunity presents it. Did you see the bump stop thread? Little run time but working well.

Order came today....Looks like some good stuff. Photos to compare with JCR rotors,primal pads. Difference in thickness, hyperflow thicker, but both the same in driveshaft contact area. If you hold hyperflow carbon fiber pads on either rotor and squeeze not much bite but doing the same with primal pads l can feel them bite.....Don't know when they will get installed but will continue to update. Still running the stock primal brake stuff with steel over aluminum pads on losi truck with no issues. Grave digger has JCR with primal aluminum pads . I do recommend this combo but adjustment seems a bit finicky. Steel backer setup is off/on switch but JCR aluminum pads setup is more progressive braking.

FYI, CF pads against CF rotors won’t give much of a sense of bite when cold.

Typically CF brake pads and clutches work when warm and become more grabby when hot.

A road race car is able to maintain heat in the brakes so it will interesting to know how they work in this application.

Because the surface area of the pads is modest it may not take much movement to get them warm and retain heat during operation.
