Thought I would share a video I made on how to mod the Walbro carburetor throttle shaft using some O-rings I bought at Ace Hardware($2). I know the videos are long but I did want to be thorough. This mod should keep any air-leaks from happening and also save your carb from sand. No more need for the boot mod or stacking o-rings on both sides then needing to install a separate return spring on the throttle linkage. I made these videos because I'm sure there are other people who are tired(like me) of dealing with air-leaks even on brand new carbs. I hope this thread helps them out...
I've run three modded carburetors for about and hour each without any issues.
Hope you enjoy the vidz....
(Disclaimer: If you are not comfortable using a rotary tool please do not attempt this mod. It will end badly and you will ruin your carb.)
