Hi all im new here and wondered if any body could help im havin major problems with my carson gas devil(smartech titan) it just wont start ive tried takin carb of and i blew out and cleaned all the ports.put it all back together it primes no problem but when it comes to starting it wont ive had spark plug out and its sparking o.k the engine feels to have good compression but when i take spark plug out it dosnt look to be getin fuel into engine?but is pooring out of the breather pipe?also the pullstart after a few pulls gets tight and im goin through them for fun as they keep breaking in my determination to get the damn thing started.could any 1 please help as im new to the large scale and gettin very frustrated. cheers regards mick!!!
 
Sound like you have a Marjory flooded motor.

Take the plug off.
Tip the truck upside down.
Pull the pull start about 15 times with it upside down.
Reinstall the plug.
DO NOT prime.
Throttle wide open.
Pull without choke on.

Try that 1st and see how it goes.:clover:
 
When you remove the plug is it coated or dry?

If its dry put a bit of fuel in the head and reinstall the plug.
Pull it over to see if it pops.
 
What happens when a motor floods is the fuel collects in the bottom of the case below the piston. Once the fuel collect there its a crapper to get unflooded unless you tip it upside down and allow it to flow back into the top end and evaporate or sputter out the spark hole.
 
If it is the Carson Gas Devil then you have the fail-safe fitted from the factory, witch fails within minutes. There are two weirs from the RX box to the engine kill switch cut them and you should be god to go.
Don’t for get to reset the carb needles.
Get a god fail-safe unit or a 2.4 radio system with belt in fail-safe. It is a must.
