and three sets of rears.

also i got pullstarter for my fg with alloy inner ring,carson spare clutch,two fg spare drive cups(handy to have in tool box)

these tyres should see me through this summer.:clap:

update.

so i put the car up on the table tonight and had at it.
i love this onroad,excellent so far and all i can say is all good...

so i ripped out all the servos from it tonight and replaced the carson ones with a hitek metal geared hs for steering (large one) and also an ace thunder tiger throttle/brake super torque servo,it was time to replace the stock carson servos thay lasted around a gallon of fuel,7 plus tanks and it was just the outer plastic casings on the servos that gave up,they were cracked and wrecked.anyway im just a perfectionist lol

WOW!! all i can say is that my front brakes are locking up excellent now, also on the car i done other checks i checked out every screw and asjusted camber/castor where needed.

also put in a brand new spectrum dx3.0 transmittor and reciver.

and with that new sticky rubber all four corners.....i am ready for some racing now first fine day i get.:clap:

no i didnt order the engine from them . i got the tracking number yesterday from the seller it tells you that its been sent but they don't update . so i guess it should arrive pretty soon
 
Need for speed.

what can i say these few vids speak for themselves.:)

this is today at castlemahon limerick and ohh what a lovely day it was for onroad racing.
car is awesome,the level of grip is outstanding from the fg dtm tyres,and bear in mind this is no easy car park to race on,this IS FAST......:cup-2:

i reckon there is a lot more tuning still left on this car.

wow now tats what i call driving very good dc,enjoyed them vids very much.
i may very well buy one of those now myslf.:clown:
 
Awesome videos :clap: I just love the sound on that thing when it revs out on the straight line. More videos!!!!!!!!!!

few more of today. NEED FOR SPEED.

so here are the final vids of today,check out the place where i run it,cool or what??

its huge,plenty of full speed runs here,but tricky as you can see i take it down below the bottom kirb,tough to make it around there in one piece lol

think this was meant to be one of the first slower ones i think now lol

so hard to keep them in order.

i would advise to go back up to the first ones of today to view the best/fastest.

I am enjoying the thread. I love my FG Semi and just traded my offroad for another FG Car. It's pretty thrilling to toss around a 2wd beast and they are so fast!! My old solo engines rev out like crazy... can't wait for the weekend to rip it up again

thanks for viewing,yes i love the onroads,i drove this all day yesterday trouble free..

well one small thing did go and i have an order placed with hobbythek for a few servos,my steering servo went it was a small hitek one,now i have a question for you lads,well i am going to try it anyway.

im all out of servos till i get this new order but wanted to run car today again,so i wonder would it be worth a try putting a revo or t-max servo in my steering just to see if it would work for now.
they are just sitting up on a shelf unused...

worth a try maybe,steering is not too much presure on this model.

the soul purpose of this thread was to test out the stock carson to the limit out of the box in standard trim,as you can see for the money it is fantastic really,i have a few little upgrades done like alloy diff and few more if you scroll back a few pages you will see listed the upgrades thats done so far,and nothing was done untill needed(except diff) and tbh very little was done,i have ran so far 8-9 tanks and it is trouble free.....

this is a great model for anybody intrested in large scale 1/5th racing.

i will keep running this car and everybody will see here how relibale these thing actually are.

if it gives any trouble at all it will be specified.:2guns::)

lol even real cars have trouble but they are good you can tell and fast and they look steady for 2 wd

hello all like i said i got car out again today and got some vids going the opposite way around the track.

god i LOVE THIS CAR lol

trust me mastering this onroad isnt easy especially on these wetish conditions today and as you can see the aera is huge and tricky enough.
next time now im going to use cones and some pipe to make it even tougher lol

As I have said before, man I just love the sound on that thing. Is the pipe stock?

no man it is a tuned pipe,but they come with these out of the box...

im telling you it is so strange when this thing is revving out hard it sounds like a real 320bmw si lol ....... sounds great.

i had some great fun with this again today,man im so addicted to these models..

i am spending every penny on them lol:dots::)
