Sounds like a steal....but im not sure if I should get one now..as I don't know much about Electric motors.... but, is the 17series the same motor they install on Rustlers to make em go 100mph? or are the 17Series better than the Neu-Castle 2200Kv motor??
 
The 1515 i have has a 200a draw on hard acceleration in my 15lb txt but ive heard the red cat esc is way under rated on what it actually will put out amp wise. The castle site should have info on what it will pull on full acceleration :) ( and if it has a 5mm shaft lmk i have lots of robinson hardend pinions if u need one )

Thats what Im thinking of doing. I don't suppose you or Varga could measure the battery boxes and get a few other measurements for me?

The battery box is made up of two pcs per side. Redcat provided holes to move the front ones up. My 5000 ma 6s pack is 1 3/4 wide 6 1/2 long and drops right in to the "new" box. All you really need to do is change your wires around to parrallel.
