Whats the hype on this exhaust? It looks like a fancy muffler can, does it actually increase performance at all? With my MT i doubt, even the 6" tail pipe extensions would clear the body, without using some heater hose. Is it louder than the stock can? Anyone else have unput or experience on this?
 
It increases the performance a little bit, and raises the tone to a higher pitch, and certainly louder. The 6" extensions will rattle off in no time.

At the beginning of the baja craze, this was all we had, and alot of people used them, including several for me. Its a low cost and safer alternative to tuned pipes.
 
It tucks in behind engine so doesn't get damaged like the tuned pipes.also if ur not careful tuned pipes can burn u pretty good...
 
That's what I was hoping he meant. I plan on getting a rear mount Jetpro for the MT
 
Im sure I will pass on the Cat Box, when the time does come I would rather spend the money on a good tuned pipe. Thanks for the input though, I was just curious.
