center diff cover?

Im thinking about making a mesh one up, similar to what you do with the crank case to stop rocks.
 
I think it's ok to run wintertime without a cover, the snow won't hurt it, but when the summer comes, i think i'm gonna make one if someone doesn't start selling it, don't like it beeing so open when driving on loose surface.

I thought about usind one of my wifes pantyhose stash ,You think she would figure it out if they were 1 legged ,or know who swiped it ,

no, i won´t do that, but i´m also looking around trying to solve that opened center thing, the only problem i think is how to make a cover that is good enough to resist the jumps and vibrations and could easy be taken away for maintenance. any ideas?
 
That has been done before with aluminum screen by I don't remember who. Most people don't have problems getting stuff in the diff so don't bother with the screeen.
 
I don't understand why everyone is asking to have this made. Why couldn't any of you make your own guard or screen yourselves.


I couldn't even afford to take time away from my pipe and cage projects to persue such a simple mod.
 
well, i didn´t ask to have that thing made, i will do that on my own, but if anyone has a clever idea or made something it would be nice to know how, i don´t think sharing ideas is stealing your time, or did anyone force you to produce a guard or screen?
