I'm a little confused on how it is mounted in the car. The piece on the left has the holes for the screws so I'm guessing that the left piece is the bottom piece? If that is so and the right side is the top piece how would somebody with an XT mount their upper plate to the diff because that piece does not have any threaded holes.

Can you give us a pic with it mounted in the XT?

Hi Demon

no I do not have a picture now, where it is in a XT .. I only have this picture where it is in a CARBON FIGHTER..But I have an idea that it would fit into a XT...

What do you think.????

If figured it was an FS or other MCD clone because of the upper plate connecting to the main gear plate looks like it was for an MCD Evo 3 which most clones are based off of. I can tell you this from testing our MCD 2 speed units... it will not fit a Rampage.

1) The transmission mounting holes are totally different.

2) MCD, FS, and MCD clones have a entirely different crown gear > pinion gear spacing from the layshaft bulkhead. MCD has a collar on the layshaft to space the center pinion gear off the bulkhead which allows you to adjust gear mesh. Rampages are at a different spacing.

3) The upper plate looks like an Evo 3 plate with the single bolt hole for the gear plate. Rampages use 2 bolt holes. Also, Rampage gear plates are spaced from the center crown gear differently.

4) The upper portion of the gear box will not accept the XT/XB/XBE upper radio plate. Our upper plate mounts to the center transmission bulkheads using 4x 4mm bolts and the plate is at a specific height.
