center diff question

I have the MT completely torn down doing all kind of stuff, but now I have a dumb question, I upgraded the center diff mount to aluminum and now I am noticing if you mount it one way the gear is higher if you flip the mounts upside down the gear sits lower any body no the correct way to mount it? I don't have the chassis to check its out being powder coated. Thanks

The gear should sit lower towards the chassis, dude
