Chain drive on 1/5 RC truck/baja ?

Anybody make or seen a chain drive rear drive setup on 1/5 ? Im thinking like a Kart setup , solid axle chain drive rear disk brakes ?
Might be good for HIGH H.P. ALX type motors ?

Ya thats what I was thinking , the suspension would get in the way of a sprocket/disk from what I can tell so far but its an interesting idea to look at.
I like modding/designing things more than building pre made stuff so this might be an idea I will mess with for 5 minutes LOL !

any idea of the final drive ratio on a 1/5 ? with stock gears 17/56 etc.

Normal gears work just fine so no point

Yes it is . But you would want a slightly heavier chain than that. Also should have a chain guard of some kind. I've seen motorcycle chains punch holes in engine cases when they snap. Even that little chain could do some damage if it snapped on launch. It would suck to get hit by it when your standing behind it.

that looks like Kart chain , I ran 17 HP engines and rarely snapped a chain but YES they are dangerous when let loose !
