Hey guys just wondering if any one out there have fabled up a charging port for the hump pack rather then having to open the reciver box every time. If so what did you use and how did you go about wiring it in. Had one for my tmaxx that just plugged in line but it don't fit the stock hump pack for now

First I let both sides of the plug hang out of the bat box so I could just unplug it to charge. I recently decided to upgrade my pack to a 5000. It has two plugs. You can leave it plugged in and let the other hang out. You just have to notch the box for the wire. I glued my plug to the side of the box. You can see a pic in my trophy truck thread.

This is a Ernst charge port used on planes and can be found in most hobby shops. I've installed one on just about every car I run since it's waterproof. Also, notice the silicon switch cover. That's a stock cover from Losi which is used on the 8ight's. Ofna has a similar one. That'll definitely lengthen the life of your switches.
