Chassis bent!

I think a lot of it can do with how you hit rather than just how hard, or how many time you hit. The chassis I got off Lance, looks like its seen war underneath (after I got the rest of the chassis wrap off) but perfectly straight. we also need to think that a lot of us are quick to slap on alloy chassis braces and that can also transfer more force in a hit to the center line of the chassis plate. Ie more than a plastic brace that will have a good bit of flex to it.

I don’t think the alloy braces can be directly blamed for this. They seem to supply better protection for the front and rear neck, which in my experience are the first areas to bend when using plastic braces. The hit that affected my chassis would’ve probably resulted in a far worse bend at the front had I been using a plastic brace.
