Many moons ago, the trucks were one of the most popular classes for racing in large scale on road - I intend to get one and have another go.

This is the truck I'll be using and I'll be using it "out of the box"

This is where I'll be using it.

Halifax is a great track. They don't allow off road cars even with on road tyres, but you can run any largescale car there like the MCD rally car with slicks or any other popular brand of competition car.

The website isn't that up to date but if you contact Elite RC on 01422 373010 in Halifax, they can give you all the club imformation.

The idea behind it is for some cheap "grin for ear to ear" racing in a safe enviroment. I know there are a few people out there with trucks so if you fancy a go, come on down, membership for the club is £50 which includes your BRCA membership or £40 if you already have it and the club can be used from 9am to 7pm 7 days a week except on the weekends that they have race meetings on for other scales.

I'm also working on a deal with FG at the moment for a racers discount - All you need then is your electrics and radio.

Let me know if you fancy it, I'll be going any way so even if I'm on my own - I know at least then, I'll win lol

I know Halifax is a treck but there was always the Brookland club at New Roney/Ashford which wouldn't have been a million miles away.
