I am on my second day of bashing with my TT. Today the stock pipe fell of and the power jump was nice. I quickly realized that a new pipe is definatley needed. I did a bit of shopping and can't really justify almost $200 for a pipe. Having three kids and taking care of disabled parents kinda drain me financially. Is there any cheap decent pipes out there? Is there a pipe I can use off a different buggy? I am constantly checking eBay but haunt found anything for the rampage.


If anyone has one for cheap, please let me know. I don't care if it is beat. I am just looking for function.

I have run the Team Gonads X-Can (with x-port) for the 5B and my Rampage with GREAT success. One can be had for $80 or so, they bolt right up and don't interfere with anything including the gas tank. I will be honest, it blows a stock 5T exhaust away and can hold its own with some of the pricey tuned pipes.

If youre cheap be patient. My comfort level is $130 so I look on ebay, post on here, or wait until DDM or largescale, or Rob has a sale. Some of us have bought non-rampage pipes and had someone reweld the shape to fit. Thats cheap if you can find a used pipe.


Exhaust under $150 (new or used):

xcan-$30-80


boat pipe and header-$30-100


side dom-$80-130


5bss pipe + dunerunner tower/etc-$50-100


used rampage tuned pipes $75-150


reweld used pipe to fit-$100-150

I have the stock pipe from the cen. it's better than the stock exhaust as it has a much bigger outlet. there's a video in stacking the rc's with the cen running the stock pipe. wasn't too bad, but I ended up with a redcat jet pro side pipe. I've offered this thing to a couple people. Just ask they pay the shipping cost. I won't ever use it.

well i was on that boat too with the pipe prices so i went and got an FG torque pipe on ebay for 50 bucks i think i payed one third of the original price only problem will be i am going have to modd in order to fit properly but am ok with that!

No worries, I spent just a few more $ than that on the jetpro if you ad the shipping price. Dino did me a huge favor and got a life long customer out of it.
 
All I know is it will be a side pipe, non chromed and in Dino's words " reap havoc on fools that run other pipes".
