He says 'Best possible hop ups' He's using INTERGY alloy!!!!
J.

that puts me right off when i see a baja with intergy parts on them.....

when i look on ebay and find a good looking baja, i go ooooooooooo
then i see the parts and im like naaahhhhhhhhhh

They are a hit or miss company from my experience. Some parts are fantastic, Other ones are shoddy. Back when i was into savages , on the forums I was on we actually created a list of "good" and "bad" parts from integy, because some of them rocked!

+1 on JT.
I've had many and varied experiences with Integy.
Always stylish, and if it's a 'bling' item with no stress on it, it's fine.
I've some 'Titanium' Integy parts on my stretched E-Maxx which, erm, might be, but the Aluminium ones are probably just that, not 6061 or 7075 alloy as is preferred. They scratch, bend and/or break very easily, generally. Look GOOD 'though!

lol @ postage..

he waffles on about postage.. hes asking £6k for fcuk sake! ..surely he can manage the postage out of that!? lmao.. He really is a jelly-ed & needs to give his ed a wobble!

It just makes me sick when i see baja"s that much $$$$ I mean cmon its a TOY car !

everyone like to accuse someone of copying someone else and i really wish people would stop it, there is not a person here that doesn't own somethign that is copied, be it your jeans, a t-shirt, an appliance, etc. yet everyones to talk about integy copying this KM copying that. bad thing is MOST, if not ALL of these items are made overseas in asia (including the baja). now with integy i don't know as i have not purchased many of their product recently (only a P/S handle in teh past 5 years to be exact), however i have had 1/10 scale that were completely done with integy parts and they held up quite well to race conditions for me.

anyways, i wouldnt pay that much for the baja in question, first off its way to much for ANY baja especially if one has to add shipping on top of the price, second he does not give a list of parts and i know at least 1 vendor i choose not to buy parts from because they are home made garage looking (and they know who they are or at least i would hope they know LOL). and did anyone else notice the front bumper? that is not an integy piece ;), integy does have a bumper that looks like that but it is not for a baja, so if it is an integy part it is small and for a traxxas vehicle ;)

ive never used any integy parts as i don't have a baja, but ive heard a few people say that the parts are poor so i guess what people are saying is they are a bad copy!

i had an original nitro rs-4 and it was full aluminum and all of the aluminum was integy. im not saying integy is good or bad but with the experience i have integy is fine. it really doesn't matter how good alloy is it will either bend or break on a baja period. i will have alloy arms on my baja here soon but as far as aluminum goes nothing else is in a place to be concerned with nor will there ever be, i am only going with the alloy flm arms because i want the extended setup and i have not seen anythign else in terms of extended arms in anything but aluminum and the flm from ddm has the best price and is a complete setup where the integies require you to buy the rear lowers, the front lowers, rear uppers, front uppers seperatly, and you still need to purchase the extended dogbones as well.

Although you make a good point on alloy having its issues in the long run vs plastic. I would disagree on it matters about quality alloy. Just as I would say it about plastics.
If you have a lower grade, wrong, or incomplete alloy you will have issues much sooner and with less given stress to the part. If FLM made there arms out of a different alloy then they do, I bet they would not give a warranty, and I bet they would not stay straight very long. Now them using the type of 6061 they do will let you enjoy them much longer.;)

i would like to have teh flm extended arms made out of steel myself but then that would present an entirely new set of problems LOL. anyway, i place my order today and cannot wait for my arms but then again i can because i just tore open my carb beause it was the last thing i had to check in terms of possible causes of my current engine issue and discovered a rebuild kit wouldnt help, there is some serious internal damage to the carb that debris in the carb just will NOT cause, a couple of loose press in plugs screes with a hole in them and believe it or not there was a piece missing atogether (going by the exploded view straight from walbro). so now i have yet another part that was an apparent factory defect that people will tell me they don't want to hear it, i'm full of it, i'm just out to bash hpi, etc which just is NOT the case (good thing i have contacts from when i repaired lawnmowers and stuff LOL) correction 2 parts are shown on the exploded view which are diaphragm surge, and spring fuel pump. the exploded view is for the wt series carbs and there is only the 1 diagram. a link to the diagram can be found here:
