Does anyone have any info/experience with this kit? Is this the same one as rc pit stop kit. Or similar? They have them on eBay for $87.
 
Prob is rc pit stop does not have it in stock. And it seams that its a lot more expensive. I think its because it comes with the plate,not sure. But the my already has the aluminum plate so I'm still a little confused.

It is the same belt system but the problem is if you have a newer redcat you have to change the clutch bell and the layshafts to the old square shaft type and the newer plates will not work! :(
 
I just got it about a month ago so i m sure its the new style. Maybe I should wait for rc pit stop to get them back in stock.

The newer style gears are held on with the help of four pins. If you are unsure I would just wait till RC dad (Brian ) from Rc pitstop has them in stock he can certainly point you in the right direction.
