chimera cage and body on xbe? possible?

Yes, the Chimera is the same platform. You would need to a bit of modding, but it could be done.

The Chimera EP Pro is basically an XBE.

Can't find good picks of under body to see how things are mounted. Would I keep or replace rear shock tower and front?

Front shock tower stays. The rear gets removed the rear shocks fasten to the cage.

My wife said to go for it but.....$$$$ (I did buy my xbe used for a great price though)

Also, how durable is the roll cage?

I think it's going to be a lot of work. The cage doesn't use the rear shock tower.

I priced out all parts including hardware for a customer. It is expensive. Over $250 before shipping.

Your better off purchasing a whole Chimera.
