Cleaned the mt today

Today i cleaned the mt. i fully dissasembled it and i was in shock at how much crud builds up on the chassis of it. i used an old motorized tooth brush to loosen up all the crud and then i blew the chunks off with an air compressor. i then wiped everything down with brake parts cleaner.i figured the cleaner wouldnt hurt anything as long as i didnt spray anything electrical. I hope im not wrong. i figured i would clean up the truck so its ready for pics when my body and wing arrive. How do you guys clean your rcs?

I'd stay away from the brake cleaner. It's hard on the plastic and rubber parts.

The crud does really build up. I have to detail mine after every outing. A little OCD I guess. I douse mine in homemade RC cleaner then blow it dry with the compressor.

That's exactly what I use simple green and some denatured alcohol

I use

1 part simple green

2 parts alcohol

Splash of WD40

Makes it look new every time.

Love the wd40 clean look it really makes them look new again

I've always used the simple green and then I spray some wax

Sealer on everything and blow it off it helps with the crud sticking

On everything seems to work
