So I did a bit of sand running this weekend (about 30 seconds to a minute total)

I have the O rings and boot mod on the throttle shaft and a team chase diaphragm filter on my carb. On top of redneck, outer wear pre filter with the stock inner foam (greased onto the holder) combo.

Outer wears everything. Should I worry about sand getting in the engine?

I ran her for a tank afterwards and she ran perfectly. No bogging or anything at all.
Would you guys advice me to open the carb and clean it or am I just being too paranoid?

Thanks guys

If particularly the air filter and any access to the fuel appear to have done their job, and if it's still running fine, it's basically up to you.

The instant you notice ANYTHING, then YES.

I've no experience of this side, and it's always the worry, plus of course stuffing the wheel bearings, but, well, that's all part of the fun of the hobby - stripping down, cleaning and preparing for the next time.

I'd guess, if it appears OK, it's your call, or 'if it ain't broke, ... '.

Al.
