cleaning diffs and such

Would brake cleaner or carb cleaner be ok to use on the plastic diff housing and shock parts? If not any suggestions other than using gas? I kno some cleaners eat plastic just wanna make sure

I use naptha works great on the stock grease too

Got some eco friendly brake cleaner from wally world hopefully it'll be alright says its non chlorinated and made with 'green chemistry' so well see

May sound funny but I save the old stuff for parts cleaner, works great http://www.tgndistributing.com/dt1-foam-filter-cleaner.html

The oil I like to but once I've cleaned the filter I save the dirty cleaner just for my parts. It works well if you ever pick some up.
