Cleaning???

Looking for the best way to clean mud and whatnot off my MT.

Compressed air. Just don't hit any bearings dead on with the air, it'll push dirt into them.

I'm really anal about my R/C's, though. I usually break them down and detail them.

yea thats what i was thinking was in down time, take it apart and clean. my buddy says its just gonna get dirty again. i told him well you can leave yours dirty.

I clean mine with compressed air, a mixture of simple green, denatured alcohol and a capful of wd-40 in a spray bottle.

awesome tip! so ya just go to town with the cleaner? anything to really not spray it on (servo of course)?

You'd want to wrap a plastic bag around the air filter. Don't spray the bearings directly. And obviously, avoid the electronics. Disconnect the battery, just in case.
