i seen pauls home made limiting starps and was buying them but i wont beable to make deeside for about a month so i thought i would have ago at making my own what do you think?

Better using shorter shock shafts and springs I would think.
Actually, the length of the shock shafts is totally irrelevant, it would just mean that some part of the travel wouldn't be used in onroad configuration. As for the springs, the shorter straps would stiffen them up, which is good for onroad use, and the adjustable collars would still be available for fine tuning.

As I said above, this is not for ultimate competition use, but for the average Baja owner, swapping out the straps seems an easy and inexpensive way of making the Baja more effective on sealed surfaces
