WE don't HATE CLONES, COPIES WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO CALL THEM .:lol::lol:

WE JUST HATE HOW GOOD THEY ARE FOR THE MONEY.:p
HPI SHOULD TAKE NOTES AND OFFER MORE FOR YOUR MONEY :D:D:
 
ive seen them on ebay and look good value, ive also noticed you can pick up a good spec second hand hpi for the same money, are you free tomorrow jon if i pop down with me car or is sunday better? :)

It's a car. If it works, it suits your means, you like it, GET IT, stuff the non believers, or purists, or whatever.
It's a hobby.

It's like saying I won't buy New Bright because I support Tamiya ?????????

Horses for courses, clones have their place if it means more people can afford to get into the hobby that when all said and done is not cheap especially if you spend time at Deeside :w00t:

Think about all those cheap Japanese imports from Datsun (Nissan) and the others that everyone laughed at including the then very bouyant British car industry, proof that if you take the punter for granted and don't keep your eye on the ball you will lose in the end. All the Japanese did was clone what was around at the time and then developed them to outgun the cars they had copied.

Back to RC, if the shenqui and the others keep the likes of HPI, MCD etc. on their toes we all win.
 
yeah clones are ok i guess;)

what gets up my nose is... people trying to unload cloned spares /stripped

down cars on ebay trying to pass them off as genuine FG /HPI/MCD parts

and unaware people :w00t:are buying them:o

Fair point pal, but this world is full of shits, just got to work out which ones are genuine.
