Clutch burning smell and smoking some times

I have a Redcat Rampage MT I just put a new 8k clutch in it and swapped my A and B gear and I saw smoke when I was braking so I adjust my brake and I get a burning smell form the truck like brake shoe smell I have no clue what it is. My disc brake or clutch. PLEASE HELP ME OUT

Check your servos and electronics.

You may be working the clutch to hard with the gear swap if your still running the stock mt tires.

Yes if you are running stock MT tires and you switched the A B gears you have taken quite a bit off the low end to move those heavy tires!!!!!

Oh okay I'll switch them back then because I am still running the MT stock tires, thanks BertR and rcgasser I had just put a 990 carb on her too

Also check the set screws on the brake pads and the shaft that the brakes ride on.

andyken them grub screws are hard to get to but they not loose
