this is a strange one, last run I had with the FG (G260 with zen shoes and a red 8K spring) at the end of the run it was idling and still moving, almost stalling because revs were dropping, I stopped instantly and thought ok spring broken, no biggie.

just removed the shoes and the spring is in one peice and the shoes look fine? ???

ive got a FG blue clutch spring on its way, ordered it coz I thought this one was broken before checking.

what could have caused this? dirt in the clutch bell maybe?

Not sure? Have you taken it apart to see if anything was rubbing or stuck in between the bell and shoes? Where the bolts and washers installed right with enough play for the clutch to move back?
Stumped with you on this one?

ive taken it aparat, there was allot of loose dirt in there, so when the clutch bell is spinning im guessing that it would get thrown to the outside of the bell so gap between shoe would be less, either that or the spring stretched somehow,

ive put a new blue fg spring back in it, didnt start it last night as I only finished very late and didnt want to disturb the neighbours so should get a chance to start it tonight.
