I was bashing my Vekta and everything was good . Then all of a sudden it stopped . As if it ran out of gas . I checked the tank and it had a half of tank left . I started it again and it was moving as if the clutch spring had broke . It would barely move . I tore it down and noticed it moves freely with out the motor . I don’t have a slipper clutch in mine . I changed it to the direct drive . I did notice that the clutch pads are worn down . They’re thin and the spring is not busted . Has anyone had this issue and here’s a pic of the clutch . I’m running an ESP 34cc motor . The front , middle and rear gear boxes turn freely when roll it without the motor . The motor has compression also .

Are bolts tight, see some wear. Only clutch issue ever had bolts loosened and rubbing on bell, basically locked up everything. Sounds similar.

I solved the issue . The spring is weak . It engages on a low rpm . Causing the car to move on its own. I forgot to post that . I changed the spring and it’s good now . Thanks .
