Ok heres the few pics that came out good


First take all this off

then u see this STOCK spring





and after Cussing for 30 min trying to get that HPI spring in !! Bam a New 8000 RPM spring and a Whole new Monster

Nice. Did you take the clutch off to install the spring? Or did you do it the hard way and leave the clutch installed? Also, it doesn't look like the spring is seated completely.

THE HARD WAY!! LOL Its wasnot quit all the way in in that pic but I got it in there. NOW I gotta do the XT !! But with a broke CVD shaft in the front it don't need it yet LOL O And I just bought a whole new HPI Clutch Kit for a backup plan

Yeah I think it's easier and quicker to take out the engine instead of the gear plate. Good job none the less!

It took 30 min and was easy as hell other than hooking the spring. And i had a sheared on the main gear from jumping. either way its simple

this is going to be a dumb question. if the spring color is red does that always make it a 8000 rpm spring?

IDK! good Q ! im sure if its a HPI Spring it is !! But im fairly new to 5th scale. just been in RC forever LOL
