Clutch Spring

Ok guys getting my list togetter for next week and on the list is clutch spring. How hard is this to install, is there a video on it any where.


Also what is the bset to get 8000 or 9500. I want it to get down with it, and if I run up on a hpi baja. Or should I wait and just upgrade the whole clutch to a 3shoe.

I just use channel lock pliers and squeeze together its very easy

I bought the preinstalled, but by the time it arrived it was no longer together. I was able to snap it together against the floor.

The higher the clutch engagement the better it will launch because the motor is already on song. I ran the 8000 hpi spring and loved it much better than stock I just installed a elcon 4 shoe clutch which is adjustable but just can't find the time at present to get out and run to close to Xmas. The adjustable ones would be the best as they last a lot longer and you can setup to your own driving preference. The spring by it's self is cheap and give a noticeable increase in take offs.
