clutch

I have a new hp baja clutch with 8000 rpm spring.The clutch slips bad it won't spin the tires in loose gravel.Any ideas?

You may have glazed the clutch bell on your last "ride". I would bet on it. Take the clutch bell out and lightly sand the inside. That should do it.

And turn it over before you put it back on.

Still slipping,changed spring sanded clutchbell and scuffed clutch shoes.Another new clutch time I guess???

did you put the clutch in backwards that will force the shoes harder against the bell so it will slip less

Double check your set screws in the four sided hub on your gear stack onto the lay shaft one of them backed out will give you same problem as clutch slipping.
