Here is my new to me DBXLE hanging out on the wall with some of its lil bros waiting for its first run.


Only had it a few days, bought used, stripped it down for a clean and a once over. Apparently was only ran 5 times. Stuck a MAX 5 HV & 1 mill in the centre diff in. I wanna run it like that before I go and fit more stuff, like the DDM springs, metal turbuckles and a 17t I've sitting on the side.

Oh, I've also sorted the awful toe in too, should be a good place to start from ;)
 
Here is my DBXL-E 2.0 with HW Max4, No foams, I went with the 2” wide for less rolling resistance (I plan on running it on the Salt Flats) Vitavon transmission, front and rear differential housing’s (not installed yet, waiting on the lockers, and ceramic bearings).

Goodies installed. That front header bolt was a sumbish. Glad I had some ball end allen wrenches. Fixed the stupid gas leak in the tank. Bartolone End Bleed Pipe, MOD Killswitch, MadMax Giant Grips, Turtle Racing Clutch Bell Carrier and Motor Mount. Now for a run and tune.

Only spent money where needed and add aluminium support in certain spots like around the diff not replacing it, better springs, etc.

Just got it the other day... so it's still in the box does that still count?
However i do have an DBXL-E out of the Box!

Make sure you loctite your set screws on the drive shafts and you might want to do the gas tank mod before you even put gas in it.
 
For sure on the locktite , mine loosened up too.

Hey FLH003 , what is the gas tank mod? Not sure I knew there is one.
I did have a defective tank from LOSI right out of the box , I contacted Losi and they sent me a replacement with no questions asked.

That is where I had a leak. I do remember hearing this now that you mention it.
Losi obviously must have been aware of this since they replaced my tank without any questions. The only thing they asked for was a picture.
