I did a search and didn't find anything on compression tests. Can someone tell me how you test compression on these motors.23cc Fuelie.
Thanks,
Buzzurd

1, take out plug
2, put finger over hole
3, pull string

if there is compression, it'll try and blow your finger out of the way, if there is no compression - it won't.

use compression gauge from a lawn mower shop. They just have a rubber seal on the end and you hold them firmly in the plug hole. then pull the rope.

The gauge is more accurate than my finger. The gauge on my finger sticks and doesn't give correct readings.

I do not know what motor you have but on most stock motors you want 80 to 100 psi. When doing the test make sure you have the throttle wide open and the choke off.
