Confused

Ok today was running my mt and running great then I opened the tank the idle dropped and stalled. It would start up then die. Primer bulb full, and feed line empty. So I'm thinking filter clogged. What do you suggest?

Was the tank full? Did you try priming it, again?

Tank was half full and we did prime it. Would only restart with choke and then run for 10-30 seconds. It was haulin ass then after a good 10-15 run I opened the gas cap and it stalled. The cap is vented at least I thought it was.

Yeah, double check the vent. If that's ok, check the fuel lines for damage.
