Each to their own mate, personally for me the 5T is a terrible looking car, the SC is far better looking but both are ungainly really, the SC though is scale looking being based on a full scale race series.

The 5SC SS is approx. £930 in the UK so still more expensive than the 5T and the SS version only has two differences over the stock version, I think one is the pipe (what is one of the first things people upgrade on a car???) and the other is the engine but I have not heard anyone tell me what the difference is over the stock engine apart from whats in the name HPI Fuelie or HPI Fuelie S.

ss will have 6mm shafts whereas the rtr has 4 if memory serves. personally ifind teh 5sc fugly and wouldnt touch one and prefer the 5t (did i mention i think the 5sc is fugly?). i'd take a 5tss over a 5scss ayday however the 5t has been discontinued and was never available as an ss which means hpi just saved me cash because to me it isnt worth buying a 5sc ss when i would have to spend more cash (on top of replacing poor parts) making it look right.

ss versions has a 26cc, rtr version has a 23cc

I think you are confusing the SS version of the Baja with the RTR version....what I'm talking about is the SS version of the 5SC over the RTR version, the only upgrades are the tuned pipe and the Fuelie S engine, the Fuelie and Fuelie S engines are both 26cc

@Raptor......The shocks on the SC whether RTR or SS are the same, like I said above the SS version comes with very little by way of upgrades over the RTR. For me the SS is the better buy though as you get a pipe you can sell on and it retails for approx. £70 less than the RTR version add your £70 to the money made on the sale of the SS pipe and you have about enough for a decent tuned pipe to let that 26 Fuelie S engine sing, And you learn more about the car as you have had to build it yourself.

ohh i thought your talking about the 5bss version and the rtr version, not sure about the 5sc i don't like it much tbh

why don't you like the sc is it cause you cant manage to swap your poop for one or is it you don't get enough money from your paper round to buy one like real people

I don't like the sc because it looks like poop, and i would buy a 5t if they werent discontinued. Mainly i don't like the body.
