I don't own a 4x4 Baja, but king motors sells one for 800 bucks,,, maybe u can buy all the parts to do it, they run a belt to the front,, never seen a conversion kit for a Baja,,, company called kalee sold by nutech use to make a 4x4 Baja,, same as the king motor one,,, the car may even be a kalee, but that car is no long made under that name and not sure if nutech is even in business anymore as they sold it,, Also not sure how the parts are interchangeable from a 2x4 to a 4x4,, If u want a 4x4 Baja,, might be cheaper and easier in long run to just buy one from king motor... read mixed reviews on its reliability though,, and its generally its own car,,, most people want a 4x4 buy a losi,, or maybe even a redcat . fg, mcd etc

i don't like Redcat cause of cheap plastic but,its at least shaft driven.using a belt is extremely inefficient.when i was shopping for one i looked at a 4wd baja on utube and saw 0 gravel skipping from the front tires!i saw more than one video there and no traction characteristics at all.its front wheel assist at best,,, made my mind to get a 2wd then i bought a 2 speed locker.if you turn it into 4wd you can't go 2 speed.

You can run 2 speed on 4wd Redcat.
Why not others??

I don't even think u can get 2 speeds for redcats anymore, demon made them,, and I think they are out of business,,, as far as other 2 speed,,, reliability is biggest issue,, lots of problems with them,, so most get rid of them and run single speed taller gears ,, especially if running higher horsepower engines

i have a km 2speed LOCKER.its going on 4 gallons.it still pulls the front wheels off the ground.i did blueprint the locker as it had some flaws.the Clutched 2speed is the one with the bad design oneway bearing.this one i have never done anything with.i have sold two other lockers and told the buyers to contact me if they have a problem cause i might have an xtra one way, never got back to me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
