I've added a new gasket on top of my old gasket to prevent gas and oil leak from my exhaust prior to the post below. Below is before I add the new gasket on top of the old gasket.

This was done when I was finished rebuilding my differential. After finishing the differential and started running my RC is when I experience the engine dieing and start up issue.

Could air leak from my exhaust gasket because of the two piece gasket (I made sure it was tight too with loctite too)? Causing me not to be able to start my engine? What I'm doing here is just temporary but I want to eliminate the possibility of why my engine is not starting. Let me know racers....

sealer

you smear a very thin -even amount on the 2 wide, flat parts of the gasket. nothing is applied to the edges. Also, the sealant you posted can be bought at- your friendly local Auto-zone- and its clones- its sold at Wal-mart also. Its best to avoid Wal-mart from the 1st tru the 5th of each month- from 12am on, there will be no beat up shopping carts to use- and the soda pop - potato chip asile will be empty too- if ya get my drift---!!!
