Hey Guys, I'm in the process of moving so money is tight and I'm thinking of selling my Rampage MT. Wish I didn't have to but I won't be driving it for a few months anyway while I settle into the new place plus the money would be really helpful right now. Don't worry, if I sell it I will get another one in a few months so don't think you're getting rid of me that easily...lol

I figure I can offer it up in three different setup combinitaions. As a roller, almost RTR and totally RTR with a new(month old) Futaba 3PK FASST 2.4ghz radio and receiver.

Setup 1) I'm thinking the roller setup will come with everything except engine, pipe, electrics and body. It will include the wheels and tires so don't worry about getting new ones. Just add your own engine plus electrics and it will be ready to go.

Setup 2) The almost RTR will have the engine, pipe, all servos and Pico modded kill switch.

Setup 3) The full RTR will have everything above plus the Lipo setup which includes a 2300mah 2cell lipo and Castle Creations BEC. Let's not forget about my new $375 Futaba FASST system. That means you'll only need some gas to run this bad boy.

What the truck has installed right now:

A CY motor with 28.5 headkit and HPI air filter.

Walbro 813 carb(only been used for two tanks).

HPI 8000rpm high response clutch

Custom made Sprint77 rear exit aluminum pipe(works awesome)

Two Hitec 5745mg digital servos for dual steering that have seen very little use.

One Traxxas digital 2075 waterproof servo for throttle(has worked flawlessly).

CAT 5 aluminum dif cup retainers installed on all four wheels.

HPI greased axle boots also installed all around still in perfect condition.

Pico modded kill switch.

Proline rear Desperado wheels with Hostile MX tires and HPI hexes.

Suspension limiting straps.

Front and rear flat iron frame supports.

Engine flat iron support.

Outerwears Pull start pre-filter.

Aluminum pull start handle.

Custom aluminum crankcase screen(keeps rocks out of engine fan area).

Custom aluminum clutch screen(keeps debris out of the clutch area).

HPI wing with custom made mounts.

Custom made gas tank breather(much better than stock).

Castle Creations CC BEC.

Almost new 2300mah lipo for receiver and servos.

Painted open top TT body with screen for debris.

Futaba 3PK-S FASST radio with R603FS receiver(one month old with box, manuals and warranty card). I bought it new from the store, not used or on Ebay.

That's all I can think of for now...

As you can see in the photos the truck is pretty damn cool, I love it! It runs awesome and gives me more torque than I need. I was planning on changing the gear combination to 29/31/25/25 for a little higher top speed but I guess the new owner can do that if they choose to. The engine has less than two gallons run through it. I don't abuse my stuff so it still runs like new. Once you prime the Wolbro 813 carb it will cold start right up in one or two pulls.

I recently converted the electrics over to lipo because I was tired of charging the Nimh pack so often and wanted something that I could just charge and let sit without worrying about the battery draining on it's own. With the lipo and Castle BEC you run the the truck for 30 minutes put it away and run it another 30 minutes or an hour a week later. I ran it for 20 minutes this weekend and put back just over 100mah into the pack. That means it will run quite a long time before you need to charge again.

So anyway, if I sell I want to give someone a great deal but also get a small portion of my money back. I'll throw out some numbers and you guys let me know if it's too much or too little. I respect all of your opinions..

Setup 1) Roller: I'm thinking between $350 and $400?

Setup 2) Almost RTR: Between $600 and $650?

Setup 3) Full RTR: Between $800 and $900?. I won't sell the radio system separately, it goes with the truck or stays here and keeps me company...lol

What do you guys think, are the prices fair?

Honestly man, I have thought about selling my truggy to fund the purchase of an MCD Racerunner Evo 4. I have pondered to no end and came to the realization that I would be better off keeping it. I have an insane amount of money tied up in my Truggy and I couldnt recoup half of it.

If ya plan on getting another eventually, just keep it. Its not ruining sitting there, clean it up, and admire it. I cant really comment on your prices, they seem fair considering the time and money invested. Hope that helps :)

Most of my fun came from getting to point it's at now so I wouldn't really mind that much starting over in a few months. :)

I understand completely, but from a monetary aspect it took some serious money to get to that point as well. If money is the primary motivator it would be counter productive to take a huge loss when you sell it. Only to repeat the build up again at a later time. Also think about this, how much more bulletproof and better it could become if you keep working on it. :D

Well, I might not need to sell it but just in case I wanted to get some feedback first. If I post the ad I didn't want it to sit there a long time because I was asking too much for it.

Hopefully I can keep it but don't feel too bad if I can't, my wife's happiness is way more important to me than mine. She's been totally supportive and even wanted to get a 5th scale for herself at some point, she's tired of watching me have all the fun. I want to be just as supportive and help ease the high cost of moving right now if it gets too expensive. We'll see.... :)

That pipe is pretty badass...one of a kind... :D

Didn't even bother trying out the DDM sidepipe I had, this one just works too well and fits great under both my shells.

If I sell my truck I'll probably try out a dunerunner, this pipe won't fit it... :(

I went throught the same thing last year. I decided not to sell the 2 ramps I had. I put them both in a box and didnt see them again for 4 months. I think your prices are spot on with market value and fair. You might think your taking a big loss now selling a very hopped up used ramp but consider you can buy another very hopped up used ramp later for probably the same or less than you let this one go for.

Holy Crap what a great deal! Sorry to hear you have to sell it. Only wish you were selling it in two months so I could by it... I need to recover from ordering my MT v3 ;-)
