next im trying to figure out if i need a new clutch bell it doesn't appear to be worn but when on the shaft it has a slight wiggle. Is it suppose to move at all? also besides the bearing inside the clutch bell there was another one behind it when i pulled it off and im not sure that bearing is good either where do i order that one?

Lastly i have no pullstart so im gonna buy one but im unsure if its all there to be able to hook it up or if im missing something else as well, i pulled that little shaft with the nut end out of the middle before taking the picture

I'd replace the clutch shoes and the clutch bell. They're pretty cheap. And you don't know how beat up that clutch spring is. It could go pretty quick. Just better to start fresh. And it doesn't look like you're missing anything for the pull start. You have the starter shaft, so you're good to go.

you can buy a tube of 10x clutch bell bearings from ebay really cheap, deffo worth picking up, i used to replace my clutch bell bearings every time i took it off. (just ebay nitro clutch bell bearings, or somthing and you will find them)

The ally clutch shoes are a hop up and should fit, just make sure you order the correct ones as the 3 shoe ally clutch need 3 pins on the fly wheel(the 3 pin flywheel is another hop up), but becarful with them, as i used to find you needed keep an eye on them, as they burr over the sides and eventually seized the clutch bell.(specialy the vented clutchbells)

Then you would have to take it all apart just to deburr the clutch shoes (then your all good again)

that 2 speed clutch bell looks fine, don't forget to shim the play out of it when refitting, it will last longer, a little wiggle is normal aslong as its not excessive

on the pull start, it looks like that engine has the oneway bearin built into the backplate, so all your missin is the pullstart, and input shaft(the little shaft with the hex on it)

I don't see any upgrades for the 2 shoe setup. They offer an upgrade that converts it to a 3 shoe setup, which has the aluminum shoes.

I don't know what size they are. They're not listed on Redcat's site. You could have someone measure them for you and get some off Ebay like Terra said.

how do i shim the play out of the clutch bell?

A little back and forth movement is ok. If the clutch bell is too tight, it'll eat bearings.

Here's a vid on how to shim the clutch bell...

thanks so is it the side to side play that you measure or the how much you get when you pull and push on the clutch bell?

How much play you have when you push/pull on the clutch bell. If you have any side to side play, the bearings are shot.
thats what i figured so i ordered a new clutch bell thinking it would come with the bearings already inside but it came today and no bearings. Could you post a link to the exact bearings i need?

You'll probably need to contact Redcat for the bearing sizes. I don't see them listed on their site. Unless you can get someone to measure them for you.
