Cracked 4 bolt DarkSoul case

Look what happened to my case! I don't have a gallon through it. Ted originally built the engine for me, first the cooling head cracked, now the fan case. Good it comes off, so I can buy a new one. Crappy aluminum grade? Any other reasons. It has been in my MCD, so it realy hasn't been bashed hard. It is cracked about 1/3 of the way around, you can see some grass in the crack.

I would have some one put a few tack weld on there. It will be hiddenfrom sight and be stronger after.

Yes, that is what I am going to do. Must be from the vibrations of the engine. My DS cooling head cracked the same way.

I didn't have my DS crankcase long for testing cause my POS baja broke it in a silly little cartwheel.
