Just wondering if anyone has the Engine side part of the SS Exhaust as i've just noticed mine has a crack 2/3rds of the way around.
Its gone around where the round pipe connects to the head mount.
Can they be welded or is there any type of weld paste out there.

I'll post a pic as soon as i can.

Thanks guys.

Hello Mate,

I know this is of little help but the SS pipe is pretty much one of the first things to change out, if you have spent any time on the HPI Baja Forum I think they had a vote and this was fairly high up, it's not a bad pipe and is well protected but it is weak. Seriously it's not worth mending much better to bite the bullet and get something like the rear DOM or the Jetpro V2 or V3. Heres a pic of my V2 on the back of my old SS, believe me it made silly high revs but did not get left behind by people running the DOM....

Although it sticks out it is very tough and they are a well proven pipe if a little old but they can be had at good prices if you shop around, or try some of those copy pipes from the chinese manufaturer. ;)
