I go on craigslist at least once a week looking for RCs. Most of them are decent and considered buying some. My gripe is all of them are filthy and dirty. People are so funny on their description, they'll say, "never abused" but the picture if the car is filthy!!!!! lol To me a never abused RC will never be dirty after a run. Plus before I put anything on sale I would make sure its clean so I can get top dollar for it!

I completely agree. If its dirty it might as well not run since it needs a tare down anyway. It's so easy to soak it in RC cleaner and then blow it all off with compressed air.

Re: craigslist RCs

It's so easy to clean untill you have to many rcs but not enough time (or money) hehe

Time can be an issue. However when it's not in my budget to upgrade I actually enjoy tarring down the cars and give them a good detail.

I hate when the rc sells for let's say $399 and there asking $350 and its all tore up! And you will see it there for weeks! Get a clue craigslisters!

I also hate it when they say they have 20 years of experience with all types RCs but selling a nitro because they cant tune it! or they want a ridiculous trade like a traxxas slash brushed for a XO-1 or any 5th scale
