I was curious on if you could purchase just the crank shaft housing where the flywheel and clutch housing attached to, the one I have on a spare issue is pretty messed up and want to replace is, if so anyone have any links to cheap ones.

I've never compared the two. It is just what is recommended by OBR. You might want to contact them on why they recommend the Zen over the CY.

cool, thanks for the heads up, I will have to do that before making any purchases.

P.S can it be any zen crankcase or do they only recommend the one you linked?

I'm assuming it has to do with the transfer openings. The CY's tend to be a little bigger than the Zen's. It's not that big of a difference, though. Other than that, they're the same. If you're really anal about it, you can port match the cylinder to the CY crankcase but it honestly won't make a huge difference in performance. I've used CY cylinders on Zen crankcases and vice versa, if there is a difference I didn't notice it. Certainly not enough of a difference to warrant the extra cash. That could be put to use on other parts that'll actually make a noticeable performance difference, like a pipe.

Thanks for the info deluge Ib think I will go with this setup worse case something happens and I need the Zen crankcase and I will just chalk it up as a lesson learned.
