Ouch :2guns: And he was only saying the other day how tough they are. I bet you ran over it Jacko for all the poop he gives you :clown::clown:

What the heck happened? Looks like it was dropped from the sky!!!
It took off and landed like a scud missile. :clown:

I was watchin him, then thought he'd better turn or brake soon as if he hits that grass bank at that speed its a gonna :helpsmilie::helpsmilie:, Wish i had filmed it as it didn't half take to the sky.

He said it lost signal and shot off on full throttle, he's even got a Kill Switch fitted for that exact problem but its either wired up wrong or he's been ripped off with a dud un.
Think the front chassis is twisted slightly and its got a few marks on the alloy but i'm sure he'll have it back to norm very soon. The wheel flew off but that was only the E clip.

think that was the most spectacular rc crash i,ve ever seen:no: but the sad thing is it was out of voo,s control , never seen a runaway 5th but it was scary, it must have hit that dirt mound doing 40mph allmost cleared the road and if not for the bush,s it stopped against it would have been total,d.

ah man gutted for you ive been there mate not nice it scared the crap out of me if it was the kill switch id beat the bloke you got it from with the switch

On a serious note, and very sorry for Voo's misfortune, if 'we' continue with the Scouse 711 Club, we must insist on a limited number of 'visits' before a kill switch is installed on a member's 'vehicle', if a club does proceed.

I've not experienced a runaway, other than my Tamiya Blackfoot in Guinea, West Africa - it did take out somebody's bike which was quite funny!!
Lived to tell several tales.
Al.

Tell you what, at the speed it was travelling at, if it had been facing our 1:1 scales it would have written all 4 motors off or it would have been in the guiness book of records for the longest RC jump, it cleard a path + a double road + path and landed in the hedge (six inches to its right there was a stone works slab, if it had hit that it would have cost ££££'s to repair).

You know me and Voo go at it on here, but that was 1 ugly crash. :(

Yeh mate, I missed the crash, but HEARD it , and saw the car coming to a stop and it did not look nice.
Its quite far removed from this but I remember having my shiny new HPI Rush evo only 2 weeks when I hit a sandstone block at full speed making a TOTAL mess of the car. Not a huge repair bill but I was GUTTED. So to do this amount of damage to a KM alloy must be most gutting.

Thats over 20% of the cost new.....ouch :2guns: If it were a 1/1 car they would be thinking of writing it off

Not sure I would either but if its worked ok for you up to now it should be ok. Just check it works properly at the start of every bash to be on the safe side.
