This is so oftopic, but since we started talking safety issues I gotta tell my embarrassing story. I was bashing in local shopping mall parking lot on one sunday evening. Here in finland shops are open almost every sunday but this mall aint because owner family is religious. There wasnt absolutely no living creatures except me. Or so I thought. I aint actually kidd or stupid so I try to be carefull where and how I drive. I was bashing around and few times passed myself with highspeed. I don't know how he did it but drunken man driving bicycle drove from behind my back right in middle of "line of fire". Carson attack hits his rear wheel and fellow falls of course and bike makes full 360 in air. It looked real horrible. I was so relieved when I noticed he is ok. Hes bike wasnt.... totaled rear rim. He wanted 50€ for bike repair so I managed with little. I was so glad that no ones leg wasnt broken etc or even worse. At his life situation morale aint first priority so after 5mins he got back and told me he was going to call police, tells them that his laptop got broken unless I pay him 500€..... He really needed help, not laptop. So there went my symphatity (I didnt pay of course). After that I recommend..... never ever let car pass you so you have to turn to see your driving area. After that I always go to corner of area I am driving and kind of corner where aint any passageways etc so nobody cant come behind me. These are real missiles and any place aint so lonely you can forget safety.

It will be interesting to hear why it ran away and the kill switch not working too

What brand of kill switch was it? What radio? Not all kill switches function the same way. They have different versions of firmware. A modified Pico is not the same as a Killer Bee.

If you have a Spektrum radio you need to take extra care to make sure your radio and kill switch are set up properly. If your failsafe is set up wrong it can actually over-ride the kill switch and allow a runaway. I bet that this is what happened to VooDoos car.
