I have an XB and have had front CVD problems. I tried to use rear dogbones but this prevented the wheels from turning, I have 7075 hubs on my XB. I suppose the hubs are different for MT and TT. I found where Fast Lane Machine is carrying a front CVD system for the Red Cat Rampage XB for $70. Their part number is FLM 50000. I was wondering if anyone has used the FLM set up on an XB or if anyone can advise what I can do about front CVD problems on an XB? Sorry, this is my first post.

Thanks. I read the site often and have found it extremely helpful. Hopefully others will see this post and advise the quality of the FLM CVD. Also someone may be able to inform me why dogbones failed to work on the front of my XB.

(Part # 07144) "Universal Drive" failed at the joint. I have replaced the entire piece once and rebuilt the joint utilizing (Part # 07406) "CVA Rebuild Kit". It failed both times after a short period, approximately one gallon of fuel. When I rebuilt the joint I noticed the (Part #07405) "Steel Axle" showed no wear. This part is what the wheel attaches to and can be replaced. The axle joint is where the failure is occurring. The axle joint is connected to the long piece that connects with the differential and is not sold as a separate piece to my knowledge. The joint becomes worn and will not properly hold the pieces that connect it to the Steel Axle, the pieces found in the CVA Rebuild Kit.

I also wanted to add that I am running an OBR 30.5 full mod motor and 31X29 gearing with HPI Desperado Front tires

I am sorry I did not address the dogbones. I tried to put dogbones in the front and my (Part # 07143) "Wheel Axle" that accepts the dogbone struck my (Part # 07117) "Steering Mount". The Wheel Axle is to long and prevents the vehicle from having the ability to make a left or right turn. I tried cutting half the Wheel Axle off on the end that accepts the dogbone. When I did the modification it allowed the wheels to turn but did not secure the dogbone. If I did not modify the wheel axle it will not clear the steering mount
