CY 26cc Clutch tightness?

Hey guy's, I just had my MT apart to check for an odd noise and when I got it down to the clutch it seemed loose. I could put a 1/4 inch screwdriver tip between the screw and clutch. is that normal? it's the stock clutch and spring. I've run it like that since new, so 2+ years. Thanks

There is a spring washer between the clutch shoe and screw head. Make sure that's still there. The screws bottom out in the clutch plate and should not tighten all the way to the clutch shoes. The clutch shoes need to be able to slide outwards to engage the clutch bell.

Ok, I haven't taken it off yet. I wanted to make sure it wasn't backing out. Thanks for the heads up.
