after my 26cc cy died after 3tanks with plating faliure, i was going to rebuild the motor using a 29cc head kit or even a 30.5 ,but have heard these can all so have plating issues, i,ve allso got a zenoah g230 in good condition but is a 23cc a step backwards in the power stakes? maybe with a decent pipe the 23zen could perform well, i just want a reliable motor for bashing:cup-1:
 
im a big fan of the 23cc zens when running a tuned pipe they can perform very well one of my mates had a marder running a 23cc zen was just as quick as my marder running a 26cc his was stock no alloy mine full alloy then i sold him my old jetpro and man the thing changed into a crazy wheelie machine and would lift the front on demand i found a site somewhere that said a stock zen 23cc put out 2.5 hp standard pipe ect with a tuned pipe 4.75hp i also think the rev up alot quicker than the bigger cc engines i run a 23cc oddified zen now and love it but still would like to make a 30.5cc one day just for the extra tourqe you get

yea ren, i want power and tourqe but i think it can come at a cost. paul b had 2 ,29cc head kits in a matter of weeks i think the liners wore out faster than fast i,ve only ever seen good reveiws on zens. it seems cy,s can be very hit and miss i,ve had a good one but it sucked in sand and died so i built another and had now,t but trouble with it:mad:
 
ive been there mate i have had nothing but problems with engines in the bug a 26cc a29cc ddm tuned and a stock 23cc which is in a mates km baja and still going strong even running stock pipe i think im on my 4th but this one is going strong still plating looks fresh still which is amazing as its got 2006 engraved on the head next to oddified plus with a stock 23cc zenoah you can pick head kit piston ect for under £50 if you look around for that price you cant go wrong get a good pipe and scream the tits off it
