CY & FG Engine Mounts

is there a difference between the cy engine mount & fg engine mounts just wondering
cause i have an old fg marder with g2d engine in it and also a mutilator 6 with brand new cy unit
i was gunna nik cy and stick it on fg but first find on ere if they are the same mounts

Both physically the same size,I've swapped a CY engine with a zenoah engine with no trouble.

that was just had a quick shave and an answer was there thank you i will have a further look in to it the g2d lump is on its last legs so it would be easier to do this than trying to get spares for the engine thank you

I believe,,,,
The Zenoah GD2 and RC230/RC260 use different small engine mounts.
CY and Zenoah use with the RC230/RC260 serie the same small motor mounts.
So the small motor mounts for an CY or Zenoah motor will not fit the older
GD2 serie.

Is it the GD2 with the four bolt head?

Buy a set of marder mounts off fleebay for a couple of quid and lob ya Mutilator (Zenoah) mill in. Or , alternatively buy a 23cc Zen ,again off fleebay (£25-40 quid) re-ring it(4-6 nicker and a head gasket £2.00) and TA-RA!!! Good basher mill for buttons .
