cy29cc ported and bored ddm

Hello I bought a used cy 29cc engine that the guy person I bought it from said he bought it from ddm with a 29 stroker kit and a ported head.My question is the engine came with a billit head looks like this

There are no fins on the flywheel is this normal for a ported engine

there ought to be fins on the flywheel. they provide the air flow for the cooling around the cylinder. a head like this can catch air as the car moves and keep it cool. however, for efficiency, you need cool air around the cylinder to keep that part of the motor cool. that's my $0.02 worth.

Its called a Lightened Flywheel and helps with throttle response....it doesn't restrict the air flow like the standard flywheel, but your engine will prob get hotter quicker, not to say it won't get any cooling air....have the fins been removed from both sides and if so are they totally flat or just shorter than normal..

Looks like they were cut down and ballanced. both sides
