CY29cc won't start?

Hey all,
Long time reader, first time poster. I have a brand new CY29cc with a DDM dominator pipe, using the stock 668 walbro carb. Factory settings with fresh 91 octane fuel mixed 25:1. have swapped betwen the stock NGK and an after market Bosch spark plug both gapped at 0.032. This engine WILL NOT start! No how, no way. Plugs get a strong spark. I leave the plug out, yet right next to plug hole and turn over engine. I get flames!!!! I have done every thing I can think of short of bashing it against a tree. I live at an altitude of no more than 500 feet. Oh and yes I have concidered flooding. Pulled plug and turned over multiple times. What am I missing?
 
Have you checked the carb settings? Have you tried turning the low needle in/out a little? Have you tried turning in the idle screw?
 
sounds like its not getting any fuel, does the bubble have fuel in it ?
set the carb to factory settings, check the fuel tank is vented correctly and not blocked also check fuel lines aint blocked or cracked or maybe the carbie just needs a good clean............... that just about covers the fuel side of it.

As I pointed out, flames from the cylinder head with the spark plug out and beside the hole while turning it over. I have spent the better part of 6 hours pulling on the starter cord, and have wasted about 8-10 oz of fuel through the engine. Yes there is fuel in the bubble and no air bubbles in the feed or return lines. With the plug out I am getting a nice mixture mist. If it was some thing simple I would be screaming my truck up and down the street right now.
 
I am guessing at least one of the plugs are new. What I would do is make sure it is set to factory settings one 1 1/2 on HSN and 1 1/4 one the LSN. Idle it up a little and if that does not work try a new plug.

Is the plug wet when you take it out? You said it is a CY29 so I am guessing it is the one with the billet head?

Yes the plug is wet, but not drenched. Yes it is the billet head. And both plugs are new. Factory settings fail, even adjusted it 1/8 turn at a time in and out.
 
Not trying to break your heart but these engines are known for problems but you should still be able to get it started. Does it hit or pop or try to start?

It could be the gap between the flywheel and coil. I know you said both the plugs you tried are new but I have seen if run too rich or too much oil plugs foul out quickly. I have all so come across plugs bad out of the box but most times never 2 in a row.

When you take the plug out, put it in the plug wire and lay it on part of the motor where you get a good ground do you have a nice bright blue spark when turning the motor over? Problem with try to help someone with a problem like you have with out having it in our hands can be hard.

Did you take the carb off to install a air filter? If so are you sure the pulse hole is not covered up?
 
Try putting a few drops of gas down the spark plug hole put the plug back in and see if it hits or pops. If the spark is weak like you said check the coil gap. You all so might try disconnecting the kill switch to rule that out. If none of that works and the spark is still weak I would try a new plug.

I'll give these a try, starting with the kill switch.
